The Vision Center of West Phoenix has been part of our Arizona community for over 40 years and is focused on care that is innovative, caring and personalized.

We care for patients of all ages, starting with our precious preschoolers to our treasured seniors. Our tradition of compassionate patient centered care has earned the recognition of patients who travel from all parts of Arizona, other states, Canada and Latin America.

We believe teamwork is central to the practice of eye care. Our Doctors, Residents, Interns, and staff work closely together to understand you and your family.

Dr. Roger Juarez

Dr. Roger Juarez

Dr. Juarez has a Doctoral degree in Optometry from UC Berkeley, where he earned a graduate fellowship award for leadership, and three clinical honors in areas of Primary Care, Contact Lenses, and Binocular Vision.

Dr. Juarez also as a Biomedical Engineering degree, graduated Cum Laude and as a Tau Beta Pi Honoree. His engineering experience includes work with Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and LifeScan, a Johnson & Johnson company. He currently offers consulting services in engineering and lectures on System Theories and Lean strategies.

Dr. Juarez is founding faculty of the Arizona College of Optometry, former Director of Primary Eye Care Procedures, as well as an Assistant Professor. While at the university, he served on various committees and reviewed journals for the American Academy of Optometry. In addition, Dr. Juarez helped develop the first Optometry school in Central America.

Today, Dr. Juarez holds an Adjunct Clinical Professor position at the University of Houston College Optometry, University of California Berkeley College of Optometry and State University of New York College of Optometry. Dr. Juarez is also a Residency Coordinator for the University of Houston
College of Optometry. In addition, Dr. Juarez volunteers as President of the Pendergast Elementary Community Foundation. A foundation that serves the needs of teachers and students in a vibrant community.

The Vision Center of West Phoenix ha sido parte de nuestra comunidad de Arizona por más de 40 años y se enfoca en una atención innovadora, afectuosa y personalizada.

El Dr. Juarez tiene un Doctorado en Optometría de UC Berkeley, donde obtuvo un premio de beca de posgrado por liderazgo y tres honores clínicos en áreas de Atención Primaria, Lentes de Contacto y Visión Binocular.

El Dr. Juarez también tiene un título de Ingeniería Biomédica, se graduó Cum Laude y es un Honorario de Tau Beta Pi. Su experiencia en ingeniería incluye trabajo con Bascom Palmer Eye Institute y LifeScan, un Johnson & amp; Compañía de Johnson. Actualmente ofrece servicios de consultoría en ingeniería y conferencias sobre Teorías del Sistema y estrategias Lean.

El Dr. Juarez es profesor fundador del Arizona College of Optometry, ex Director de Procedimientos de Atención Primaria de Ojos, así como también Profesor Asistente. Hoy, el Dr. Juárez tiene un puesto de Profesor Clínico Adjunto en La Universidad de Houston, Universidad de Berkeley, y la Universidad del Pacifico escuelas de Optometría.  El Dr. Juárez también es coordinador de residencia del Colegio de Optometría de la Universidad de Houston. Además, el  Dr. Juárez es voluntario como Presidente de la Fundancion Coummitaria de education primaria Pendergast. Una Fundación que atiende las necesidades de maestros y estudiantes en una comunidad diversa.
